Materials, color, and texture are the inspiration for my mosaics. Each challenging piece is preceded by hours of research, rough sketches, and experimentation with boards and tesserae. Whether the subject matter is abstract or representational, a consistent theme in all of my work is the peace found in simplicity and minimalism.
