Gay McCarter

Raised in Nashville and currently a resident of Jackson, Gay McCarter has made a name for herself in the art world. A graduate of the University of Florida in 1979, she was awarded a M.F.A. degree in painting from the Memphis College of Art in 1992.

Working in the mediums of oil, watercolours, mosaics, and sculpture, she is an award winning artist with an impressive exhibition history. Gay is a member of SAMA ( Society of American Mosaic Artists)
