A Celebration of Mosaic: 26-27 September 2026
Join us at our BAMM in-person meeting ‘A Celebration of Mosaic’, taking place over the weekend of 26 - 27 September 2026 at The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
We will be marking the outstanding contribution by our members in creating the ‘Threads of Remembrance’ mosaic. Come and hear the personal stories behind the mosaic and see the finished artwork, now installed in the Arboretum chapel.

Saturday 26 September
9.30 Doors open for registration
10.00 BAMM AGM
10.45 Coffee
11.15 The story behind the Threads or Remembrance mosaic with BAMM President Tamara Froud and Llynda Baugh, Exhibitions Officer at the National Memorial Arboretum.
12.00 Group visit to the Chapel to see the Threads of Remembrance Mosaic
12.30 Lunch (not included) and time to visit the BAMM Market Place and take a self guided tour of the Arboretum
14.00 ***NEW FEATURE***
An afternoon of Tips and Tricks with
Gill Goldsmith (Meridian Mosaics) talking about fixings and adhesives;
Llynda Baugh (NMA), Queen of Grout
and
Katy Galbraith (Recycled Mosaics) sharing her tips on transfer techniques.
This will be an informal and interactive session with attendees moving around the room sharing their own experiences.

Choose from two one day Master Classes
There will be two full day masterclasses taking place, which are exclusively available to BAMM members.
Masterclasses run 10am-4pm and are limited to 15 participants per class.
Each masterclass costs £110 per person (incl Eventbrite fees). Lunch is not included.

An introduction to the forgotten world of historic Cabinets of Curiosities.
Mosaic Masterclass: Flowers for Peace - Sketching in Mosaic
Tutor: Sara Melville
In this class Sara will introduce you to her unique mosaic sketching technique and guide you through how to make your own mosaic sketches.
The Weekend will be a great opportunity to meet lots of fellow mosaic makers, both hobbyists and professionals. You will also be able to enjoy the beautiful NMA grounds.
